I'm Kalyn Myllyla, and I go by the alias “Kayro” online. I’m a freelance story artist, born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Currently attending Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design aiming for a Bachelor’s in Illustration with an Animation Track.
I love story and character driven work. Bringing stories to life through art whether it’s through illustrations or storyboards/animations, has always fascinated me since I can remember. My goal is to be apart of a team working as a storyboard artist on animated series or films and one day creating my own animated films or series.
In my spare time when I’m not drawing, I consume multiple forms of media like films and music, play my ukulele, or hang out with my friends.
